Also be sure to purchase an external fire wire hard drive (at least 60GB). A fire wire drive will be able to run at least 7200 rpm; any less will not work. DO NOT purchase a USB drive!
Because the class has grown so large, I recommend students purchase or borrow a digital video camera (again fire wire capable) if this is possible. However, there are several cameras for the class to use (we will naturally have to share), so this is NOT required.
