Lauren-

[Structure] The clips kept a pretty steady rhythm, all the same duration...I think this works as long as the clips are exactly the same duration; or done deliberately. But overall, pretty even, and it worked.

[Composition] You framed everything well, and you used some interesting shots for abstraction (esp. the water in the paper thing and the straw shots...). But I think the straw shots could have been zoomed in much more; overall, I would say, more macro/close-ups to make things really abstract.

[Sound] Seems like you were aware of sound and used it to your advantage. I like that we can hear the noises from the straw and the water, etc. And I think you might have reversed some of the sound in the water fountain part, which is nice. Maybe pay more attention to the rhythm of all those sounds as a whole piece.

Lauren,

Your structure was balanced and well planed. I liked how a lot of your shots were of something moving such as the water pouring or the slurping through the straw. The sound of the water and straw were pretty cool as well. I think you piece was very interesting but I'm wondering what would have happened if you tried more abstract camera shots.
